Struggling with fatigue, poor sleep, or stress that won't let up? Your minerals and your cortisol levels are often connected — so we made it easy to check both at once.

Our HTMA + Cortisol Bundle combines two of our most popular at-home tests — the Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) and the Hair Cortisol Test — using a single hair sample. Since both tests are run from the same collection, you don't need to send in hair twice or pay for two separate submissions. Just one simple, painless sample gives you a full picture of your mineral balance, toxic metal exposure, and long-term stress response.

Hair is a powerful diagnostic tissue: as it grows, it records your body's nutritional patterns and hormone exposure over weeks to months — offering insight that a single blood or saliva test (reflecting just one moment in time) can miss.

Why Bundle These Two Tests?

  • One sample, two reports — no need to collect or mail hair separately for each test
  • See the full picture — mineral imbalances and chronic stress often influence each other; testing both together gives more context than either alone
  • Save $39 compared to purchasing the HTMA ($199) and Cortisol Test ($109) separately
  • Simple, painless collection — just a small hair sample, no blood draw or needles
  • Personalized digital reports — clear, easy-to-understand results delivered to your device for both tests

What's Included

  1. Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) — Screens up to 26 essential minerals and toxic metals, including calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper, lead, mercury, and arsenic.
  2. Hair Cortisol Test — Measures cortisol stored in the hair shaft to assess your long-term stress response and cortisol trends over time.

Note: results are generated as two separate personalized reports — one for minerals/metals, one for cortisol — from the same hair sample.

FAQ'S

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your HTMA results are typically ready within 5–7 business days of your sample reaching the lab. Cortisol results typically take 5–10 business days. Since both are run from the same sample, you'll usually receive your HTMA report first, with your cortisol report following shortly after.

Blood tests reflect your mineral levels at the moment the sample is taken. For instance, eating a banana before your test may cause elevated potassium levels—even if your body is actually deficient and in need of supplementation.

Urine tests, on the other hand, measure the minerals your body is excreting, not necessarily what it has absorbed and retained for use.

Hair analysis offers a more comprehensive view. As hair grows, it records mineral retention over time, providing a longer-term picture of your body's nutritional status. Unlike blood or urine tests, hair analysis is not easily influenced by recent meals, physical activity, or emotional states. It gives insight into your body's mineral patterns and toxic metal exposure over several weeks to months.

Some hair treatments can influence specific mineral readings or slightly lower cortisol readings. Our lab calibrates for common treatments and dyes, and we recommend noting any hair treatments on your submission form for the most accurate results.

Anyone dealing with fatigue, poor sleep, brain fog, or ongoing stress who wants a fuller picture of what's going on nutritionally and hormonally from a single, convenient sample.

For most people, testing every 4–6 months is recommended to track changes and assess the effectiveness of any dietary or supplement adjustments.

Yes, scalp hair is preferred as it provides the most accurate representation of recent mineral and metal levels. If scalp hair is unavailable, other body hair may be used.

Hair testing is a well-established method that provides long-term insight into your mineral retention and toxic metal exposure. Our lab uses calibrated equipment to ensure precise, reliable results.

If imbalances or toxic levels are detected, we recommend following the guidance provided in your report as a first step. If you'd like to take it further, we can connect you with an approved healthcare practitioner for a more in-depth consultation and personalized support plan. Please note that consultations are optional and provided at an additional cost.

No physical kit is mailed for either test. You'll receive an email with detailed instructions, a printable submission form, and a hair measurement tool after ordering. You're responsible for postage when sending your sample.

You'll receive two separate personalized digital reports, one covering your mineral and toxic metal levels (HTMA), and one covering your hair cortisol/stress results.
